Wireless Gadgets

Recently I am getting more into technology and the different aspects related to it. I had initially been interested in making web sites; I used the services of The WebSquad who always helped me when necessary. The Web Squad is very good at making custom web sites and anything graphic design related. Lately I became more interested in wireless technology. Upon looking up a lot of info, I realized that Bluetooth and WiFi are the popular wireless technologies out there.  Bluetooth covers shorter distances than Wifi but a lot of devices have access to it. I did a bit of searching on the Internet, and a lot of other info came up. Some people try to extend their Bluetooth range a little bit so they can walk around freely over longer distances. Bluetooth devices require pairing though. This means that once 2 devices are “paired” they can be used in conjunction. One example would be pairing your head phones to your stereo and then walking around listening to music as long as you are in range. Wifi is technology that has the same wireless concept, but reaches even longer distances.

I am getting new flooring. I just talked to Kolorkist Cleaning. I was on the phone for a while. Kolorkist is really cool with their customers. I decided to get what I call a “carpet medley”. I am going to get multiple colors throughout my house. I have not decided on each individual color yet. I think I want something that produces good contrast when you walk from room to room, as well as good contrast for each room’s furniture etc. There are many who don’t care about this, but for some reason I am more picky. I need to get my entire house remodeled. Actually, I have been thinking about it for a while and kept putting it off. Flooring is not the only issue. I don’t want to make too many plans though, I just want to take it step by step, and flooring is a good place to start.

Buying A Car

I hate the entire process of buying a car because it is a hassle sometimes. I would say the big dealerships are the worse. I have been ripped off before, and now I am more cautious. This has made me more selective about who I do business with. I bought my last car from German Motors. It was a used Mercedes and it went smoothly. I like doing business with places like German Motors because they are more old school. Since it is not a big corporation they have the ability to make deals on a handshake. Basically you get more personalized service and it makes me feel better as a result. Their services are genuine. I am glad they are around as an alternative to the bigger establishments. When it comes to buying an automobile from them, they don’t have the selection the bigger guys have, but you will definitely find what you need at a better price. 

Lifting Heavy

I had a great workout today. It was the best I’ve had in a long time. I lifted very heavily and did a bunch of stations. I had taken the Gamma Labs Pre-Training Formula beforehand. I went to the gym ready to have a productive day. GammaLabs helps. I did a bunch of chest workouts first (bench, incline, etc.) Then I moved on to biceps and triceps (curls). I followed through with shoulders, and then did a bunch of crunches. No cardio today. I might go for a walk later. I feel very energetic now. I want to carry this feeling into tomorrow’s work out. I have long term goals but I concentrate on them by taking it one day at a time. It is a good approach for me, not just for working out but also for other aspects of my life. 

Technology on Cars

If you were to take a trip to Fantasy Car Rentals you would see many unique, luxury automobiles. Fantasy Car Rentals (as the name implies) allows you to rent them, and drive them for a while. What I am more interested in is the technology on cars, and precisely how technology on automobiles has been changing over the years. It is obvious that there are countless more electronic components on automobiles that ever before. I am not just referring to gadgets but also the internal components of the engine, etc. It has gotten to the point where a good auto technician must also be a good electronics technician. There are many computerized components once you open up that hood. It is very interesting, but also challenging in terms of doing your own repairs. Even so, a little bit of reading goes a long way when it comes to stuff like this.
